Bring Brownsville Home.

For as long as we can remember, Brownsville has been sending its best people away. The world is finally looking at the Rio Grande Valley. This is our one shot to make sure the city we live in is the one that benefits.

★ The Movement Begins ★
01 / The Moment

Brownsville's Window Is Now.

Our fathers drove up to West Texas to work the oil fields. Our friends counted down the days until graduation so they could leave. Families got split up just to make ends meet. We grew up thinking that was normal. It was never normal.

Now something is happening that we never thought we would see. The world is finally looking at the Rio Grande Valley. With Starbase, with all the investment coming in, with all the attention, opportunity is showing up right at our doorstep.

But you do not invite people into a house you have not cleaned. So before we welcome the world in, we take care of our own home first. We fix our streets. We fix the flooding. We make our city actually show up when people need it. And we put an end to the same few families running local government for themselves, trading favors and getting rich while the rest of us get nothing.

Once our house is in order, we open the doors. This is our one shot to put Brownsville on the map for the whole world to see, and Bring Brownsville Home is how we are going to do it.

02 / The Plan

Three Things We Do First.

Specific. Measurable. On a timeline you can hold us to. No buzzwords, no consultants, no fifteen-year masterplans. Either the streets get cleaner, the businesses can open, and the books get opened, or we have failed. That is the bar.

COMMITMENT 01

Streets On Contract.
Real Deadlines.

I am putting our streets, our mowing, and our drainage on performance contracts. There will be a schedule and a standard. If the grass does not get cut or the drains are not cleared before storm season, they do not get paid. No more waiting on a slow city department that answers to nobody.

  • Performance contracts on streets, mowing, drainage
  • Hard schedule and standard, every neighborhood
  • Storm season deadline written into every contract
  • A public scorecard so you see exactly who is doing the work
COMMITMENT 02

Easiest Place In Texas To Open A Business.

I am going to copy what works up the road and beat it. One permitting office, clear rules, fast answers, instead of fighting city hall for a year. And I am going to build a real economic development arm whose only job is to bring this Starbase money home and turn it into jobs that stay here.

  • One permitting office. One door. Clear rules. Fast answers.
  • An economic development arm with one job: jobs that stay in Brownsville
  • Local hire and local supplier requirements on every incentive deal
  • Beat what works in the rest of Texas. Do not match it.
COMMITMENT 03

Tear Down The Dynasties.

For too long Brownsville has been run like a family business. The grandfather held office, then the son, then the cousin, and every one of them walked away richer while your streets flooded and your kids packed up and left. They did not serve this city. They fed off it. That ends the day we take office.

  • Full forensic audit of every city contract
  • Every contract online for the world to see
  • Ban no-bid deals that let relatives and donors cash in
  • Findings handed straight to the prosecutors

★ Brownsville Born ★
I am not waiting for anyone's permission to fix the city I am from.

I grew up here. Brownsville is mine, the way it is yours. I have spent my career building, hiring, and putting work in front of people who needed it. Bring Brownsville Home is the movement to take this city back from the people who have been feeding off it, and to make sure this once-in-a-generation moment lands on Brownsville families, not somewhere else.

Whether I am the one on the ballot in 2027 or someone else is, the work starts now. The audit happens. The contracts get rewritten. The streets get fixed. The doors open. We are not waiting for an election to be the city we have always been.
